"Stop watching the door," Sal remarked to Andrew.
They were standing in the ballroom of Le Diamant, the fanciest hotel in town. The hall was done up beautifully. Lots of twinkling lights, candles, and loads of classy Christmas decorations. Goldstein and Associates didn't cheap out when it came to throwing a Christmas party. All staff members were invited, including the janitorial staff, along with their guests and/or family members, but no children at this party.
Andrew had been watching the entrance, obviously waiting for Jay, and Sal had noticed. Sal was dressed in a well-fitted suit with a crisp red silk tie and matching pocket square. Of course he looked lovely. He was gay. He knew how to dress.
"She'll be here. She's only ten minutes late. Girls do that," Sal explained.

"Well it's annoying. When we agree to meet at a time she should be there," Andrew said.

"Relax!" Sal said.
Just then, Jay walked into the hall. She looked stunning. She was in a form-fitting black floor-length evening gown that accentuated every curve of her voluptuous body. Her bright red hair was loosely curled and left out, cascading around the strapless sweetheart neckline of her dress. She was wearing a lot of mascara and bright red lipstick. She spotted the two men and smiled before making her way over to them.
"You, my dear, are a goddess!" Sal exclaimed. He grabbed Jay's hand and encouraged her to twirl.
Jay laughed softly. "Thank you Salvatore," she said with a flirty little grin. "You fellas don't look so bad yourselves."

Jay smiled. "Aw, thanks Andy," she said.
"Now pick your jaw up off the floor!" Sal teased Andy, elbowing him playfully.

Andrew laughed softly. "I'm gonna go to the bar quickly, do either of you want anything?" he asked.

"I wouldn't mind a glass of champagne. Gotta love this open bar thing huh?" Jay said with a smile.

((Kippy should arrive now))
"You know, I find it funny that the invitation to this thing clearly stated that it was a formal event, yet Trisha is dressed like that!" she said, pointing to a young brunette secretary that was dressed like a slutty elf.
Sal laughed. "Hey! A slut will find a way to be a slut, regardless of the occasion!" he said.

((Yep, that's exactly what I was planning.)) Kippy walked into Le Diamant. He actually looked like a respectable human being that night, with his hair cut short and wearing an expensive suit. You'd never guess that he was a recovering addict and rockstar. He spotted Sal and Jay and walked over to them. ((Wow. That took me forever to remember her name! ))

((great minds think alike )) Sal looked Kippy up and down. Jay could have sworn she heard him say "Mm!" Sal did find Kippy very attractive. Jay smiled when Kippy walked over. "I didn't think you'd show," she said.((lmao! nice. ))

Kippy smiled, "Yeah well I had nothing better to do and this did sound like fun," he said.

Jay just smiled. She was still kind of shocked that he came in the first place.
